RMSHC Names Four New Partners
The firm is promoting four exceptional lawyers who have built vibrant practices and provided outstanding service to clients.
TOMS RIVER, NJ – Rothstein Mandell Strohm Halm & Cipriani, Attorneys at Law (RMSHC) is pleased to announce the promotion of four attorneys in the firm. Effective March 1, 2023, current firm counsel Melanie Szuba Appleby, Robin La Bue, Michael Nagurka and Andrea Wyatt will be elevated to the position of Partner.

Melanie Szuba Appleby (Rutgers School of Law – Camden J.D.) Melanie’s practice areas include local government law, land use, real estate, family law mediation and school law. Having been with the firm since 2020, Ms. Appleby states, “I am absolutely honored to be joining RMSHC as a Partner and furthering the commitment and traditions of this firm in providing the very highest standards of legal advice and assistance to our clients. I intend to not only expand our client development in our specialized areas of the law, but also to foster civic involvement in our local community.”
Robin La Bue (Rutgers School of Law J.D.) Robin specializes in local government law, land use, landlord tenant and real estate law within the firm. Ms. La Bue was recognized by the American Bar Association for her high ethical standards, professional and outstanding work regarding land use matters and long-term commitment to significant land use matters and issues. “Becoming a Partner will enable me to deepen relationships with our clients and our community, and empower me to best serve the clients as we continue to grow our practice,” stated Ms. La Bue.
Michael S. Nagurka (Rutgers School of Law – Camden J.D.) Mr. Nagurka’s practice focuses primarily on trial-level and appellate governmental entity litigation in federal and state courts. With ten years of experience, Michael successfully represents a wide variety of local municipalities on behalf of the firm. “I look forward to continuing to strengthen the bonds between the firm and our clients,” stated Mr. Nagurka.
Andrea E. Wyatt (Hofstra School of Law J.D.) Andrea specializes in local government law, labor and employment law and property tax appeals. “I am very pleased to accept this opportunity to work with the other great attorneys at RMSHC Law. I look forward to being a driving force in this firm’s future successes and development”, stated Ms. Wyatt.
